Call for Tutorials
The International Conference on Applied Informatics (ICAI 2026)
invites researchers, practitioners and educators to submit Tutorial
Proposals to be included in the conference program. Tutorials aim to
strengthen technical skills, promote scientific exchange, and encourage
knowledge transfer in the field of Applied Informatics.
Objectives
Tutorials should provide a clear, structured, and up-to-date
introduction to topics of broad interest to the ICAI community. We
particularly encourage proposals that focus on fundamentals,
techniques, best practices or tools for
Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Deep Learning
Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and Intelligent
Systems
Software Engineering, IoT, digital twins, and applications
development
Knowledge intelligence, Data Science and Predictive Analytics
Research methodologies and scientific tools
Ethics, bias, and explainability in Artificial Intelligence
Format
Duration: 2 hours
Mode: Virtual (to encourage global participation and accessibility)
Dates: October 13, 2026 (prior to the main conference)
Language: English
Audience: conference participants, including graduate students and
practitioners
Tutorials may include lectures, demonstrations, guided exercises, and
case studies
Proposal Content
Each proposal should include the following information:
Title of the tutorial
Instructor(s): name(s), affiliation(s), and short bio (max. 200
words each)
Abstract and objectives (max. 800 words), indicating what
participants will learn
